V. DEGREE AUDIT (myAudit)

myAudit has many advantages for tracking an advisee’s progress toward graduation. You will find the link to myAudit on myHill in the Student Information section. myAudit includes all the requirements for a student’s degree, including Skyhawk Core Curriculum, major(s), and minor(s) courses. Requirements are symbol-coded: green check marks for completed requirements, blue half-circles for in-progress (meaning it will be complete when the current semester ends), and red open circles for requirements that are not yet complete. A legend is provided at the bottom of the myAudit page. If a requirement is not completed, you may see a list of courses that would fulfill that requirement.

The myAudit layout is organized into hierarchical blocks: Degree, Skyhawk Core Curriculum, Major(s), Minor(s), Concentration(s), Elective Courses, Insufficient, and In-progress. Other blocks you may see include Not Counted Toward Degree and Exceptions. Exceptions are those courses that have been approved as substitutes by the Chair of the major or minor department and are used to fulfill requirements.

myAudit contains a few additional useful tools:

  • What-if Scenarios: If you click on the “What-If” tab (near the top, just under the student information block), you can add/change a major and/or add a minor to see what courses might be needed to complete the different program.
  • Printing: Select the printer icon at the top right of the page and you will be able create a PDF to print a copy for yourself.
  • GPA Calculator: If you click on the triple-dot menu at the top right, you can access the GPA Calculator tool, which can provide estimates related to future grades and GPA.
  • Notes: Also accessed via the triple-dot menu, the Notes tool allows you to add, modify, delete, and view notes from your meetings with students. Adding a note will create a Notes block at the bottom of the audit. Please remember that the student can view each note unless you check the “Not available to student” box when adding a note, and all notes will be visible to faculty and staff viewing the audit.
